Supply Chain
IWP working directly with carriers like Maersk, Evergreen, AML, CMA-CGA, MTT. 6 feeder vessel scalling Tawau port weekly for shipments bound to North America, Europe, Pacific Ocean and Intra Asia.
IWP conduct the 7 points containers check (align with USA CTPAT requirement) In order to mitigate the list in the supply.
To enhance supply chain security IWP checks the condition of each container upon delivery to the siteand takes pictures of before / after containers are loaded and sealed as well as the outer and inner of the container.
Research
Collaborate with Universiti Putra Malaysia and timber plantations in Sabah aiming to find the balance between various tree maintenance regimes, harvesting intervals and timber properties at different growth stages.
⁠Collect mechanical data e.g. bending strength for future commercial products like structural LVL, glulam, and CLT.
Facilitate dialogue between UPM, state forestry department researchers and timber plantation operators to advance the development of timber concessions in Sabah.
