Who We Are
Integrated Wood Processing (IWP), established in 2018, is a manufacturer of plywood, veneer, structural LVL, sawn lumber and engineered lumber. Our timber processing complex spans an area of 13 hectares in Sabah, Malaysia capable of annual production of 50,000m3.
IWP established its operations in Sabah due to its robust Forest Management framework, which guarantees sustainable access to timber resources for future generations while providing IWP with a diverse range of wood species. The Sabah Forest Department (SFD) initiated the Industrial Tree Plantation Programme in 2018, providing 400,000 hectares of timber stock to the timber industry in Sabah. Furthermore, SFD has developed the Timber Legality Assurance System (Sabah - TLAS), upon which IWP has developed our System R - The first timber source traceability system in Malaysia incorporating GPS coordinates of harvesting that comply with the mandatory requirements of the European Union Deforestation - Free Regulation (EUDR). Our strategic approach leverages these unique factors, enabling IWP to combine the advantages of raw materials with diversity, legality and sustainability.

Company Vision & Mission
Develop marketing strategies to enhance the acceptance of planted timber species from Sabah as high value timber products and establish Rubia (rubiaceae neolamarckia cadamba) for Sabah as an iconic timber species through collaboration with research and development forestry professionals from various Malaysian universities.
Implement a production management system that adheres to internationally recognised quality assurance schemes, environmental reporting and legal frameworks to differentiate IWP from the dog fighting segment of the timber industry.
Sustainability Principles & Values
Comprehensive production and marketing program to capitalise on the advantages of renewable tropical hardwood suitable for high value applications. For instance, RubiaPly was developed using planted timber species, such as Rubia (rubiaceae neolamarckia cadamba), which is gaining increasing recognition in Europe.
Establish a sustainable workforce capable of enduring generations with specialised operating skills rather than relying on the traditional under pay mass production model.
